Pathways for Kids
A dual-generational approach supporting children and families together to expand
opportunity across generations.
The Problem
Empowerment Pathways supports Frazier families as they build confidence, grow skills, and strengthen long-term stability. Together with residents and community partners, this work creates access to practical tools, trusted resources, and learning opportunities that support everyday decision-making and long-term goals. The focus is simple: when families have knowledge, support, and connection, they are better positioned to shape their own futures.
Our Response
Pathways to Kids is Frazier Revitalization’s youth-focused extension of our Empowerment Pathways work. It is built on a simple idea: families are strongest when both children and adults are supported together.
For example, a grandmother participating in financial coaching may also have a grandchild engaged in mentoring and enrichment activities. Or a father building job skills may have a son receiving academic and leadership support at the same time. These supports are connected—not separate—so families are growing together, not in isolation.

How It Works
Pathways to Kids brings together coordinated supports across three age groups.
Early Childhood
Foundations for learning, development, and family engagement
Elementary School
Academic support, enrichment, and early leadership experiences
Middle & High School
Mentorship, leadership development, and pathway planning
Families are also connected to coaching, resources, and community support that align across these age groups. The goal is not isolated programming, but a shared system of support that strengthens the entire household.
The 2026 Pilot
In 2026, Pathways to Kids will launch a 9-month pilot supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This pilot will engage 50 families and test a coordinated dual-generational model in real time.
Together with Systems Thought Partners, we will build a strong evidence base to understand how aligned family supports impact long-term outcomes. This phase is designed as both implementation and learning—helping refine and strengthen the model as it grows.

What We Will Measure
We will measure change at the family level, not just for individuals. Success includes how households grow together across key areas such as:

Stay Connected!
Pathways to Kids is growing, and we are just beginning. Families, partners, and community members who want to learn more about the pilot or get involved are encouraged to stay connected through updates and outreach as the program develops.
